Who is claiming R&D Tax Credits?
- There is widespread ignorance of the scheme in the UK, with only around 50,000 companies making a claim every year going forward.
- Many companies are either unaware of the scheme, or may not be optimsing the amount of the credit they are claiming.
- Only around 6.5% of eligible companies claimed last year.
Are you already claiming?
- Should your company fall into either category, we would be pleased to carry out, free of charge, a top level review of your current and/or retrospective claim submissions.
- We would subsequently advise you as to how we believe these might have been optimized and if any might still be eligible for re-submissions.
Wills
Our Wills writing specialists have been assisting bereaved relatives in England and Wales since 1993. Making such an important document will assist in easing the anxiety and uncertainty present at such an emotional time when a loved one passes. Making a Will is, with the assistance of our specialists, a straight forward operation. We make use of easy to understand terminology, and make the procedure very affordable. It is so easy to delay the making of a Will. To die intestate, i.e. not having made a Will, could cause all manner of difficulties for those remaining loved ones. To eliminate this, a specialist can, if desired, attend, and write your Will in the comfort of your own home, or, if you prefer, you can attend at our local office.
We are members of the Will Writing Association and Association of Lawyers and carry full Indemnity Insurance
The process:
At a time, date, and place, convenient to yourself, our specialist will discuss with you any instructions you have. Depending on the complexity of your Will, this will usually take approximately an hour. A draft of that meeting will be forwarded to you for your perusal. Of course, any adjustments you may wish to make will be addressed. On completion, you will be handed the Last Will and Testimonial, this should be witnessed, you may wish a member of our staff to do this, or an executor(s), you have mentioned to act for you. Of course, should you wish, we will take on that role for you. Finally, we do offer a secure storage facility for one of the most important documents you will ever make. Having made your Will with us this is offered at a small annual charge. Please ask our specialist for details

Probate
In association with our Legal Team
Applying for the legal right to deal with property, money and possessions (their ‘estate’) when they die is called ‘applying for probate’.
If the deceased made a will, you will be awarded ‘Grant of Probate’.
If the deceased did not make a will you will be awarded ‘letters of administration’.
Power of Attorney
A Power of Attorney is a document that gives person/persons (the attorney-in-fact) the legal authority to act on behalf of another person (the principal) and make decisions when the principal is unable to do so in areas such as real estate, business, finance, health, and more.
A principal can allow their attorney-in-fact to make any of their decisions (using a General Power of Attorney) or some of their decisions (using a Specific Power of Attorney).

Trusts
Worried about long term care for your siblings and potentially losing your house due to their cost. We are able to assist with placing property or assets in the hands of trustees, the creation of trust documents, advice to trustees on their duties and options, change of trustees, distribution/termination of trusts and the taxation of trusts.
Funeral Plans
A funeral plan allows you to pay the cost of the funeral director services at todays prices and gives you more control over your funeral arrangements. It’s important for you to get the funeral you want, and for your family to receive a genuinely personal service when it really counts. When you purchase your plan we’ll appoint a local funeral director to take care of your requests. Or, if you have a preferred funeral director in mind, just let us know when you take out your plan. When the time comes, just one phone call to your funeral director will activate your plan. Everything will then be carried out according to your wishes.

Secure Storage
For such a very important document, it is essential it is stored in a very secure place. It must be in such a location eliminating the chances of damage or destruction by fire or flood and theft. For a small annual fee, we offer secure storage of your Will(s) and Deeds, additionally, we undertake to communicate with you, each year, to review, and update your Will free of charge.
